Day 1 Johannesburg - Maun

Day 2 Makgadikgadi Pan
Begin your Botswana safari in the spectacular landscape of the Makgadikgadi Salt Pan. Take a light aircraft transfer to San Camp located in the heart of the huge salt pans in the midst of the Kalahari Desert. The salt pans occupy a vast area of wilderness, the size of Switzerland.

Day 3 - 4 Makgadikgadi Pans
Explore the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans by quad bike to see the remote archeological sites and fossil beds of extinct giant zebra and hippo. Your game walks and drives will be accompanied by experienced Bushmen who will instruct on ancient survival techniques in this harsh environment.

Day 5 Makgadikgadi Pans - Okavango Delta
Light aircraft to Duba Plains in the Kwedi Reserve Plains of the Okavango Delta.

Day 6 - 7 Okavango
Enjoy a variety of activities, including day and night game drives and leisurely nature walks. The camp is renowned for its unrivalled access to the titanic struggle for survival between lion and buffalo. Herds of elephant may also be observed feeding on the islands.

Day 8 Okavango - Selinda
Light aircraft to Selinda and your camp, which occupies the waterways of the Selinda Spillway connecting the Okavango Delta to the Linyanti in north-east Botswana.

Day 9 - 10 Selinda Canoe Trail
Enjoy a canoeing and walking adventure in the Delta, navigating some 45 kilometres along the Selinda Spillway. Nights are spent in fly camps with hot bucket showers, The area is well known for elephant, buffalo, sable entelope, roan antelope and wild dog as well as some 300 bird species. Cheetah, lion and leopard are also occasionally seen.

Day 11 Selinda, Linyanti Region
Transfer to Selinda, situated on the vast private Selinda Concession in the Linyanti region.
Overnight: Selinda Camp

Day 12 Selinda, Linyanti Region
Enjoy day and night game drives, experience the silence of the nearby hides. Take short guided walks from the camp to get to know some of Selinda's smaller creatures.

Day 13 Depart
Light aircraft transfer to Maun. Fly to Johannesburg. Connect to your onward international flight home.
