Situated near to Buffalo Springs and Samburu National Reserves, in the heart of the African bush, Sasaab is in an area of natural diversity with an abundance of wildlife, including elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah and the 'Samburu Special Five', making for fantastic game drives. The cottages are positioned on the riverbank, the prime spot for observing herds of elephant that bathe there.
Sasaab is designed to incorporate a Moroccan and Swahili style, taking into consideration the African heat. There are nine spacious and airy individual cottages, with four posted beds, large open-air bathrooms and a private plunge pool with stunning views across the Laikipia Plateau towards Mount Kenya.
There is a family suite available, with separate access and it has the ability to add extra beds if required.
After a busy day, doing the many activities that Sasaab has to offer, unwind at the SpaSaab with a world class treatment, or at the swimming pool, built on the hillside with further spectacular views over the Ewaso Nyiro River.
