Day 1 Nairobi Arrival
Arrive in Nairobi where you will be met by our Red Savannah representative and chauffeured to Giraffe Manor where your Kenya safari begins.Giraffe Manor is perfect for easing into a safari. A peaceful retreat, it has become an icon of Nairobi's historical landscape. Found in the middle of a 140 acre giraffe sanctuary, it is not uncommon to be greeted at breakfast by a resident giraffe, having put its head through the open window. Always keen to be hand fed, these endangered Rothschild giraffe help to produce unforgettable memories.

Day 2 Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve
Transfer to Wilson Airport for flight to Kalama airstrip and transfer to Saruni Samburu lodge where you will spend the next three nights. The only lodge in Kalama Conservancy, Saruni Samburu is perched on a giant volcanic rock face offering spectacular views over the semi-arid plains towards Mount Kenya. The conservancy borders Samburu National Reserve, which occupies an area of 200,000 acres.

Day 3 - 4 Samburu National Reserve
At Saruni Samburu you can participate in a wide range of diverse activities appealing to all tastes and all ages. One of the most popular is walking safaris which are tailored to your interests and are set in a breath-taking landscape. Walking with the Samburu warriors out in the African bush is a fantastic experience where you can learn from their local knowledge of the plants and animals, as well as their local traditions.

Day 5 Samburu National Reserve - Masai Mara
Today you will depart Saruni Samburu for the Masai Mara. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Cottars 1920's Safari Camp where you will spend the next three nights. Cottars is situated in an untouched and exclusive 6,000 acre concession bordering the Serengeti and the Masai Mara and offers some of the finest game viewing in Africa.

Day 6 - 7 Masai Mara
The next two days are spent at Cottar's 1920s Safari Camp where you can enjoy game drives with Gold standard guides in either modern 4wd vehicles, Cottar's unique vintage car or even by oxen-pulled wagon! Expect to see a plethora of animals on your game drives including lions, cheetahs, elephants and, if you are there between August and September, experience the annual migration, arguably the grandest wildlife spectacle of all.

Day 8 Masai Mara - Kenya Coast
Depart the Masai Mara and fly to the coast where you will spend the next five nights relaxing on the beach at The Ocean SPA Lodge. Set on the beautiful Msambweni Beach and with just fourteen thatched suites, this intimate resort boasts unending views of the ocean and is the perfect romantic getaway.

Day 9 - 12 Kenya Coast
Spend your next four days relaxing on the beach, snorkelling, body boarding or taking part in one of The Ocean SPA Lodge's personalised yoga and meditation lessons. Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Nairobi to connect with your international flight home.
