Accessible only by a captivating boat ride across Antongil Bay, Masoala Forest Lodge is deeply ingrained into Madagascar's enchanting wilderness. Upon arrival, the lodge’s commitment to minimising environmental impact is immediately apparent. Seven palm-thatched treehouse tents - nestled between the golden sands of the bay and the dense jungle of Masoala National Park - accommodate just 14 guests at a time. Built by local craftsmen using indigenous materials, the treehouses draw inspiration from the architectural heritage of the local Betsimisaraka tribe. Each is fitted with an inviting king-size bed and spacious ensuite bathroom, perfect for unwinding amidst the calming rainforest backdrop.
