Mowani Mountain Camp is located in the heart of Southern Damaraland, it features fifteen thatched, dome-shaped en-suite rooms, which are camouflaged in with their surroundings, being tucked away into the ancient granite boulders. They boast exceptional views from their private verandahs, across the gravel plains to the mountains in the distance.
The African interiors and wooden carved furniture creates a classic safari feel to the rooms. The westward facing rooms which provide spectacular panoramic views, include three View Rooms, four Superior View Rooms and a Luxury Room. A further five are Standard Rooms facing to the east and look down over a valley scattered with boulders. There are also two Luxury Suites, with open-air bathrooms - the bush bath being a highlight and a secluded sitting room and deck to enjoy private meals with uninterrupted views.
Nearby are many exciting places to visit, including Twyfelfontein and the Organ pipes, as well as having an unforgettable experience of seeing the desert elephant while on a game drive.
