Within the hotel are a couple of restaurants catering for both the adventurous eaters, who wish to try African dishes and for those who prefer something more familiar, there is an Italian-leaning menu. The Heaven restaurant within The Retreat overlooks Kigali, and is a relaxing place to enjoy a drink from the enticing cocktail menu, after a busy day of sightseeing and travelling.
The Luxury 11-room hotel was designed by Italian architects and is completely eco-friendly. The hotel rooms boast locally crafted sustainable teak wood furniture, private patios and rain showers - both indoors and outdoors. The Hotel has two room types; The Retreat Superior King Suites and The Retreat Deluxe King Rooms. Inter-connecting doors are available for families with children.
