Located on the Sand River, at the very heart of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, the six contemporary suites at Londolozi Tree Camp sit on raised stilts, nestled within a canopy of leadwood trees. Each of the suites has a private plunge pool and covered sala for relaxing during the heat of the day, or observing elephants drinking from the river below.
Game drives are some of the best in Africa, in the company of experienced rangers and trackers. The Big Five (buffalo, rhino, elephant, lion and leopard) are regularly sighted, as are impala, hyena, giraffe and wildebeest. Leopards are the stars of Londolozi - their team of naturalists have spent 40 years monitoring these big cats in their natural environment. Game drives are invariably concluded with a delicious breakfast in the bush or sundowners against the backdrop of the African savannah.
In addition to game drives, guests can also enjoy bush walks, during which the ranger will explain how to ‘read’ the bush and get up close to the park’s flora and smaller fauna.
