A SERENGETI SAFARI

Day 1 Serengeti National Park

Transfer to Serengeti Safari Camp. Every year this little camp moves several hundred miles to stay close to the migrating herds of Zebra and Wildebeest. The camp has eight large walk-in Meru tents, each with its own; dressing area, en-suite bathroom, bucket shower and eco-friendly toilet. Jugs of hot and cold water will be brought to you as and when you need them and this is one of the only places in the Serengeti where you will get a private vehicle and guide for the duration of your stay.

Day 2 - 3 Serengeti National Park

Enjoy game drives with your private 4WD vehicle and witness one of the greatest animal migrations on the planet. The Serengeti is also home to one of the largest concentrations of predators in Africa.

Day 4 Northern Serengeti 

Depart on your light aircraft flight to Kogatende in the northern Serengeti and transfer to your camp, which sits tucked amongst the rocks of Kogakuria Kopje, just a few miles from where the wildebeest cross the Mara River. Comprising twelve open-fronted rooms, split between two Lodges, the larger of the two has eight, and the smaller, private lodge has four. Each room comes with a private veranda, a fully en-suite bathroom with hot and cold running water, a flush loo, and a powerful shower. Both lodges also feature a private bar, dining area, library, and natural rock swimming pool.

Day 5 - 6 Northern Serengeti 

Enjoy game drives to the Mara River to observe the wildebeest cross on their annual migration, which has to be one of nature's most awe-inspiring occurrences. Alternatively sit on your very own private veranda and admire the abundant plains game and predatory species as you look out over the Serengeti.

Day 7 Northern Serengeti - Pemba Island

Light aircraft flight to Pemba Island. On arrival transfer by road and boat to Fundu Lagoon. Comprising twelve hillside and beachfront rooms and six suites, including four superior suites, Fundu Lagoon is situated on a beautiful beach on the west coast of Pemba Island. Each rooms/suite comes equipped with a plunge pool and private outdoor terrace with direct access to the beach, and all have spectacular views of the Indian Ocean. Other facilities include three bars, an infinity swimming pool located at the top of the resort and a Spa, which produces its own lotions.

Overnight: Fundu Lagoon

Day 8 Pemba Island

Relax and read a book, swim in the warm crystal waters at high tide, or snorkel the surrounding reefs in this idyllic heaven. Alternatively Misali Island is not far away and boasts some of the best diving in Africa.

Day 9 Pemba Island

Watch tribal ceremonies, or wander freely through the villages and experience a warm welcome from the friendly people of Pemba.

Day 10 Pemba Island

Canoe, deep sea fish or take a sunset cruise. Or you can simply relax in the spa.

Day 11 Pemba Island - Zanzibar - Nairobi

Depart Transfer by light aircraft to Nairobi. Depart on your international flight home.
