Luangwa Safari House sits in Zambia's premier game reserve, South Luangwa National Park, strong as a fortress and pretty as a castle with a huge pivoting door leading you inside. Every room has a superb view as the house sits on the edge of a seasonal lagoon, attracting plenty of wildlife, and enjoys the Chindeni Hills as a backdrop. Admire large herds of elephant, giraffe and impala without even leaving the house and, during the dry season, you can even lunch on the raised deck surrounded by elephants splashing about in the lagoon. However you spend your days you are sure to see a huge variety of game including leopard, lion, buffalo, elephant, giraffe, hippo and more than 450 species of birds.

On entering, guests are immediately struck by the rustic opulence of this stunning private house, with its exotic central chandelier and two floating staircases leading off the open-fronted living room. Four double bedrooms are likewise open to the elements with billowing, diaphanous curtains, en-suite bathrooms and private terraces. The team of experienced staff will look after you during your stay, tailoring meals and activities to suit your party.
