Day 1 Arrive Victoria Falls
Begin your Zimbabwe safari at Victoria Falls. You will be met at the airport and transferred by boat to Victoria Falls River Lodge Island Treehouse Suites, situated on the banks of the mighty Zambezi and only four kilometres away from the falls. The lodge, set upon stilted decks, has spacious dining and lounge areas. Accommodation in your Island Treehouse Suite extends out onto a private deck with plunge pool and is connected to the lounge, dining and sunset bar areas via raised walkways.

Day 2 Victoria Falls
Explore Victoria Falls, one of the most outstanding geographical sights in Africa, famously discovered by David Livingstone in 1855. The spray from the falls can be seen up to 20km away, explaining its local name, 'Mosi-oa-Tunya' - the 'smoke that thunders'. The popular town of Victoria Falls is situated on the southern bank of the Zambezi River and has an impressive choice of art and craft shops, an open air market and various galleries. Victoria Falls can be viewed from 16 vantage points in the rainforest and the surrounding area offers plenty of activities including white water rafting and helicopter flights. At the end of the day, relax and sip a sundowner on a private sunset river cruise.

Day 3 Victoria Falls – Mana Pools National Park
From the Victoria Falls River Lodge, you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport where your journey continues by light aircraft to Mana Pools. On arrival, you will be transferred to Little Ruckomechi, a luxury tented safari camp situated on the banks of the Zambezi. Be ready to spot animals in their natural habitat on this game drive through the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Site that has one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in the country. Little Ruckomechi, built on wooden decks, offers stylish living space in ten elegant, en-suite tents, each with a dining room, lounge and plunge pool. Once settled in, enjoy sundowners on the large central deck and an authentic bush dinner around a camp fire.

Day 4 - 5 Mana Pools National Park
After breakfast, head out, equipped with your camera, to view the wonderful wilderness at Ruckomechi. Canoe down the mighty Zambezi observing birds, hippo, elephants and more. Enjoy game drives in the early morning or late afternoon or take a cruise on a pontoon. Enjoy lunch at the camp and relax for a while, then head out on another expedition before arriving back for a delicious bush dinner. The next day, experience more remote tributaries of the Zambezi or walk with knowledgeable guides to learn about the surrounding wilderness. Return to camp later in the afternoon for your last night in the wilderness.

Day 6 Mana Pools National Park - Lake Kariba
You will transfer by light aircraft to Bumi Hills Safari Lodge, situated on the north-eastern border of Matusadona National Park. Staff will be waiting to help settle you into your superbly appointed rooms, with balconies overlooking Lake Kariba. Accommodation at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge consists of ten luxury suites, each with beautiful interiors finished in contemporary style and en-suite bathrooms as well as an additional outdoor shower. On site, there is a restaurant, bar, library, spa, and an infinity pool surrounded by dining terraces.

Day 7 Lake Kariba
Bumi Hills is home to herds of elephant and buffalo and two scheduled safari activities are included each day. Guests can explore Lake Kariba by boat, go on a lakeside walking safari, game drives, or indulge in fishing for bream and tiger fish in the surrounding waters.

Day 8 Depart
Depending on your flight schedule you can still enjoy a few hours relaxing at Bumi Hills or take one last walk through the bush. Depart camp for your transfer to Harare International Airport and your onward flight home.
