Day 1 Arrive Colombo
Arrive Colombo from your international flight and privately transfer to the Wallawwa. Located a short drive from Colombo's international airport yet tucked away in amongst tropical vegetation and small villages, this old colonial manor house has been lovingly restored to create a boutique, luxury private hideaway and is the perfect place to unwind after your long journey.

Day 2 Private Charter flight to Kogalla Lake
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your private charter & scenic flight to Kogalla Lake. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation, which will be your home for the next two nights. Amanwella is a contemporary coastal escape close to the seaside town of Tangalle. Enjoy spectacular views of the Indian Ocean, a private plunge pool, fresh seafood at the property's own beach club, a beautiful crescent-shaped beach and super comfortable sunbeds, which are dotted around the pool.

Day 3 Whale Watching (Seasonal)
Enjoy an early breakfast before meeting your private chauffeur/guide and transfer to Mirissa for your Whale Watching experience. You can expect to see humpback & blue whales around 25 metres in length and the ever mischievous dolphins will try their best to impress. In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to your accommodation to enjoy the rest of the day to relax in your stunning surroundings.

Day 4 Yala National Park
This morning you will be transferred to Yala National Park, a journey time of around two and a half hours. On arrival, you will be greeted by the wonderful staff and shown to Yala's first luxury tent at Leopard Safaris to settle in and relax. This afternoon enjoy your first, shared game drive out into the park with an excellent chance of seeing leopards, elephants, bear, primates as well as a myriad of birds. Upon your return, the rest of your evening will be at leisure around the camp fire.

Day 5 Two Game Drives
Rise early for your early-morning game drive and a second drive in the afternoon, with the hope of spotting leopard, sloth bears and elephant as well as some wonderful birds, monkeys and interesting reptile. This evening enjoy sharing stories with your fellow campers along with delicious cuisine and drinks under the stars before retiring to bed early ready for a final safari drive in the morning.

Day 6 Travel By Road To Koslanda
Enjoy one final safari drive before returning back to the camp for a well-earned breakfast. Continue on your Sri Lankan adventure with your private chauffeur/guide to Koslanda, which will take around 4 hours. Koslanda is located in the southern hill country and is surrounded by magnificent forest and set within 80 lush acres of spectacular tropical gardens and prolific wildlife. You will stay in one of three luxury suites, which are beautifully designed and furnished with antiques, sumptuous over-sized beds and private courtyards. On arrival, use the rest of the day to explore and enjoy delicious Sri Lankan cuisine al fresco.

Day 7 Udawalawe National Park
Enjoy a morning at leisure. Depart after lunch to Udawalawe National Park for your fascinating afternoon with elephants in their very own natural environment. The park has around 400 elephants so expect to see herds of adults and young feeding, bathing or playing in the water. The park is also home to water buffalo, water monitor lizards, sambar deer and monkeys. At the end of the day, transfer back to Koslanda to freshen up and enjoy another lavish meal.

Day 8 Ceylon Tea Trails
After breakfast, bid your farewells and continue by road to your accommodation and your home for the next three nights. Four colonial era tea planters' bungalows located in central Sri Lanka make up Ceylon Tea Trails. Located in prime tea growing country in the Bogawantalawa Valley and all within a short distance of Castlereagh Lake, each bungalow, built between 1890 and 1939, offers a taste of gracious living thanks to authentic period furnishings and the presence of a manager, chef, butler and support staff to welcome guests as at a planter's home. Rest, relax and explore for the remainder of the day.

Day 9 At Leisure
This morning after breakfast, and not to be missed, is a guided tour of the tea estate with the head planter, who will introduce you to the fascinating process of tea production. Meet the Tamil women who work in the tea fields plucking the leaves, see the weighing process as well as the drying, fermenting and packaging at the actual factory. After a tea tasting the rest of the day is at leisure to relax in the peaceful surroundings of the bungalow. Enjoy an afternoon to trek, cycle or walk amongst this spectacular countryside.

Day 10 Norwood Bungalow
After breakfast, a private guide will meet you to take you off the beaten track on foot to explore the countryside. You will spend the day walking to your next bungalow and break for a delicious picnic en route. On arrival, the chef will meet with you to discuss your menu for this evening's dinner then you can enjoy the spectacular views from the pool and have time to relax before enjoying dinner on the terrace.

Day 11 Train to Kandy
After your delicious breakfast, you will be transferred to Hatton to meet the train to take you to Kandy. Enjoy a three and a half hour journey passing through tea plantations and picturesque countryside with waterfalls and tea pickers. On arrival, you will have the afternoon to explore Kandy, the Botanical Gardens and the golden-roofed Temple of The Sacred Tooth, believed to house the upper left tooth of the Lord Buddha himself. Late afternoon, you will transfer to The Kandy House. Dating back to 1804 and one of the areas finest boutique properties, the Kandy House sits in a peaceful setting with manicured gardens and it is a wonderful retreat from the chaos of Kandy.

Day 12 - 13 At Leisure
Two full days to do as much or as little as you please. The surrounding countryside is beautiful forestry, and the hiking is easy should you wish to exert yourself. Otherwise, relax by the pool or enjoy a game of badminton or croquet or explore by bike.

Day 14 Private Charter Flight and depart
After three relaxing days, you will be driven back to Kandy to meet your private charter flight back to Colombo. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the international airport for your flight home.
