Qualia occupies a spectacular position on the northern promontory of Hamilton Island in the heart of the Whitsunday Islands, approximately halfway down the Great Barrier Reef. Arrival itself is an event, with luggage magically whisked from the airport directly to your Pavilion as you are transported by private buggy and a friendly driver to the Long Pavilion, where the spectacular 180 degree view across the Coral Sea to Whitsunday Island is revealed.
Secluded Pavilions nestle inconspicuously amongst tropical vegetation, with wallabies and cockatoos making occasional appearances. Pavilions are divided between Leeward (south facing) and Windward (north facing), each designed with complete privacy in mind, with lush plants screening each from the next, as well as capturing the cooling sea breeze. Windward Pavilions look across Coral Sea to Whitsunday Island and feature a private plunge pool with sun terrace. There's also a two-bedroom Beach House with infinity pool and spacious entertaining area with dining for up to 10. Each Pavilion comes with a buggy for getting around the resort and the island.
