ACCOMMODATION

The Sandpiper offers 47 Rooms and Suites, each with a private balcony or terrace overlooking the gardens, pool or sea. The two Beach House Suites and three Tree Top Suites are the newest additions, all with separate living rooms, kitchens and large terraces. While the Beach House Suites are set on the water’s edge, the exclusive Tree Top Suites have their own private sundeck with plunge pool and wraparound terrace with covered dining and spectacular views. Décor in all the rooms is light and contemporary with pops of turquoise, azure and emerald to reflect the Caribbean setting.

FOR FAMILIES

The one-bedroom Suites accommodate two adults and two children under 12 years; the two-bedroom Suites up to five people. Children under 12 are not permitted in the Tree Top Suites. While there’s no dedicated kids’ club at The Sandpiper, there is a special family programme for children between the ages of 2 and 12 years which includes three half-hour sailing lessons, three half-hour swimming lessons and two hours per day of supervised care for younger children. Non-motorised watersports, as well as tennis lessons, are available for older children. Children under 5 years old are not permitted in the restaurant during dinner service but a children’s room service dinner is available between 5.30pm and 7.00pm. Note that children under 12 years are not accepted at the hotel between mid-January and late February.

The Sandpiper is an ideal location for a dream beach wedding, with the staff all going that extra mile to make your special day perfect. Its idyllic location and intimate atmosphere also make it the perfect honeymoon spot. Book a Tree Top Suite for chilled Champagne in your private plunge pool and romantic dinners à deux. Go designer shopping in nearby Limegrove mall. Spend an afternoon at Holder’s Polo Fields. Finish with a stroll along the beach at sunset, stopping off at Harold’s Bar for one of his famous Harold’s Smiles.
