ACCOMMODATION
The private island consists of just 14 Sea View Cottages, one Sea View Pool Cottage and four villas (North Beach, Harbour House, Anegada House and Jost House).
The Sea View Cottages are spacious, bright and offer a peaceful tropical retreat in the utmost privacy. The Sea View Pool Cottage, as the name suggests, has the added benefit of its own private swimming pool. North Beach Cottage is nestled on the beach and can be either rented as a one or two bedroom unit. Harbour House Villa is situated at the top of the island and has a 270 degree view, this villa can be offered with one, two or three bedrooms. Anegada House is a large three bedroom villa featuring three sweeping terraces overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Jost House comes with its own villa staff and offers guests four suites, a wraparound infinity pool, wine cellar and golf buggies to get around the island.
Guana is also avaialable as an all-island rental for groups of up to 42 people.
Designed to be an escape from the hustle and bustle of life, guestrooms at Guana Island are intentionally absent of televisions, phones and computers.
FOR FAMILIES
Generally-speaking Guana Island is set up for adult escapism and does not feature the range of children’s facilities that other resorts offer. However, there are plenty of land sports, watersports and island explorations available that would keep an active teenager busy for a week. From an accommodation perspective there are several connecting pairs of cottages and the three villas are perfect for families. Babysitting can also be arranged.
