With just 20 unique accommodations, picture-perfect hideaway coves, an indulgent spa with views of the lagoon and delicious creations served in the treetops, GoldenEye is hard to leave; yet there are numerous watersports and excursions at your fingertips.
GoldenEye is situated in an unspoilt, densely forested northeast region of Jamaica. In the 50s and 60s, this backdrop provided inspiration for Ian Fleming, who penned all of the James Bond novels at GoldenEye's centrepiece villa and today it provides a sanctuary for escapees from the frenetic pace of modern-day life. A variety of accommodation, large grounds and small coves provide lots of privacy and the opportunity to spend days completely undisturbed, while attentive service will ensure you want for nothing.
ACCOMMODATION
There are various options: one-bedroom cottages; two-bedroom cottages; lagoon cottages; Villa 1; and Ian Fleming's seriously stylish villa, which lies at the heart of the resort cloaked in green. All have slightly different designs but the feeling is fresh and modern with injections of Caribbean colour. The one and two bedroom villas are located on Low Cay Beach or overlooking the lagoon. Lagoon cottages have an overwater design, with private decks extending over the lagoon for relaxing in the breeze. Villa 1 is a one-bedroom, open-plan villa underneath an old Banyan tree with spacious indoor and outdoor living areas. Fleming Villa is the crème de la crème, just footsteps from an idyllic little cove and with luxurious accommodation for up to 10 people.
FOR FAMILIES
Children are welcome at GoldenEye, which provides a safe haven and spacious accommodation for families of all ages. Over 30 acres of gardens, forests and beaches means there is lots to explore, and there are also several excursions tailored to families, including sea adventures, arts and crafts classes, watersports, walks and cultural tours. Cots and rollaway beds are complimentary, and with notice the staff can also arrange babysitting.
FOR WEDDINGS & HONEYMOONS
Weddings are most often held at Firefly, Noel Coward's old hilltop home, which has beautiful sweeping views down to sea. The team will be happy to help you organise any kind of event. Honeymooners are also drawn to GoldenEye thanks to its generous space to guest ratio, hideaway accommodation and opportunities for adventure.
