HALF MOON

Half Moon has a broad array of sporting facilities, including a Robert Trent Jones golf course, watersports centre, croquet lawns, three pools, and a racquet sports complex with thirteen hard courts, squash courts, and a fitness centre. For over 30 years, the Half Moon Equestrian Centre has also provided memorable riding experiences for guests including the thrilling “Turf and Surf Experience”. The Fern Tree Spa is the largest on the island and is cocooned amidst tropical flora and features twelve treatment rooms - some of them overwater, as well as aromatherapy steam rooms, meditation labyrinth, and a yoga pavilion.

ACCOMMODATION

Originally a set of cottages set on the stunning bay it has evolved into a lushly landscaped, 400-acre estate with an array of room types including suites and villas. The suites feature Queen-Anne style furniture, balconies or terraces, and command spectacular views of the ocean. Deluxe rooms have lovely views over the tropical garden while the ocean-facing rooms are steps from the beach. For larger parties the four to seven bedroom villas are an excellent choice and have the feeling of being in a private home in Jamaica, with all of the perks of the resort.

FOR FAMILIES

Jamaica is one of the best islands in the Caribbean for children and with Half Moon large villas it allows large families to stretch out while on holiday. The Anancy Children’s Village is where children aged three-to-twelve can learn, play, discover and make friends. Older children enjoy the huge amount of activities on offer including beach (and sea) riding, Hobie Cat sailing, pedal boating, stand-up paddleboarding and tennis.
