U Fragnu is a converted oil mill that commands wonderful views over the Plateau de Cauria, the untouched coast of Tradicettu and the sea. Also visible from the house is the Roccapina Lion, a lion-shaped rock formation that sits atop a hill gazing out towards the waves: Legend has it that a rich and powerful man was out hunting and saw a beautiful young woman, immediately falling in love but he couldn’t marry her due to their difference in status. He was so full of sorrow that he called for death to take him and was instantly turned to stone, in the shape of the lion looking out to sea.
