Day 1 Arrival in Paris
Upon arrival at Paris Charles de Gaulle you will be met by a private driver and transferred to the fabulous Grand Hotel du Palais Royal and your 'Junior Suite Emily'. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure; we suggest exploring Place de Valois, right on the hotel's doorstep and where the Savoir offices are located. You could also stroll to the nearby Jardins du Palais Royal where Mindy first reveals her talents as a chanteuse. We will make dinner reservations this evening at Bistrot Valois, frequented by Emily and the Savoir team for many a leisurely lunch!

Day 2 Discover Emily's world
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be met by an expert local guide and begin discovering Emily's Paris. Pay a visit to Emily's apartment building, pick up a freshly baked croissant at one of her favourite boulangeries, and take a stroll through the Jardins du Luxembourg - Emily's unofficial 'backyard' and regular running location. We will make a lunch reservation for you at Gabriel's restaurant - in real life a beloved Italian restaurant. Feeling revived, you will visit the Panthéon - immediately recognisable as the location where Emily breaks up with her American boyfriend by phone. Venture into the monument to discover the temple of the French nation, housing the tombs of many of France's most celebrated names from Voltaire, to Rousseau and even Marie Curie.

Day 3 Iconically Emily destinations
Today's explorations begin at the Palais Garnier, where Emily famously attends the ballet. Explore the opera house, renowned as the setting for the Phantom of the Opera and still one of the world's most opulent theatres. You will then pay a visit to the last traditional beret maker in France, for a beret fitting from the most fashionable milliner in the city. Choose from any number of colours and fabrics, with expert advice on hand [purchases payable locally] whilst learning about the fashion of beret wearing. As lunch approaches, travel to the north of the city to Montmartre. Here we recommend lunch at La Maison Rose, frequented by Emily and Mindy. After your meal, get the perfect Insta snap on the Place Dalida, where Emily creates the installation for her Hasten bed campaign, and spend some time exploring the highlights of Montmartre with your guide. Discover the artistic and bohemian legacy of this fabulous neighbourhood, now teeming with independent boutiques and traditional restaurants.

Day 4 Maison Lavaux's Paris
Your day begins in memorable style, at the Eiffel Tower, where we have arranged fast track tickets to the summit. After time admiring the views of Parisian skyline, descend for a stroll over Pont Alexandre III, scene of the infamous Maison Lavaux perfume commercial. Visit the Trocadero, boasting the perfect views across the river to the Eiffel Tower, and location of the Maison Lavaux party. You will also be able to have lunch at the Café de l'homme, where the party was hosted. This afternoon there will be an opportunity to visit the Museum of Perfume to discover the secrets of French scents.

Day 5 Explore artistic Paris
Today you will delve deeper into the artistic side of the city. Visit Père Lachaise cemetery, beloved resting place of Jim Morrison, Edith Piaf and Oscar Wilde - and Luc's favourite location to mark his birthday! Experience the Atélier des Lumières, the world's first fully digitised gallery experience, where Emily, Camille and Gabriel while away an afternoon. Pop into the other worldly Musée des Arts Forains - the fairground museum where fictitious actress Brooklyn Clark goes rogue in her borrowed jewels. The rest of the day is at leisure for shopping [of course], some cocktails and perhaps a table at a beloved cabaret club. We will make dinner reservations this evening at Café de Flore, where Emily first meets pretentious philosopher Thomas.

Day 6 Departure
After a final breakfast at Grand Hotel du Palais Royal, you will be driven to the airport or the station in plenty of time for your onward arrangements.
