Opposite this, the natural, earthy tones of the living room offer a cosy retreat. Each bedroom on the floors above is decorated with the same muted tones promising a serene, relaxing retreat. All except the top floor have an en suite bathroom, the two top floor bedrooms sharing one bathroom between them. The village itself has a wealth of architecture spanning the Roman period to the19th century. St Saturnin is noted for its delicious cherries, and there is no shortage of restaurants in and around the village. As well as cherries – there’s good wine, lavender, olives and truffles, gathered from the surrounding oak-covered hills.
