On the hillsides of northeastern Corfu, cypress trees and olive orchards descend into the azure waters of the Ionian Sea. Pebble beaches washed with clear waters and sandy coves line the shore, dotted with harbours where water-front tavernas welcome guests by land and sea.
Hidden amongst the orchards is Villa Pilos, a smart and well-presented four-bedroom villa overlooking the bay. A pathway through the garden of the villa are steps that lead directly down to the sea with jetty access, perfect for a morning swim, and also to several beaches and tavernas, within easy walking distance.
Accommodation is set over two floors, with a lovely, spacious master bedroom on the upper floor, and three further bedrooms with external access on a lower floor. Two of the bedrooms can be made up as doubles or twins.
Living areas open onto terraces, with sea views. A seating area directly off the kitchen is perfect for breakfast, or evening drinks, whilst at pool level a dining terrace is shaded by the silvery foliage of large mature olive tree.
