TREATMENTS AND ACTIVITIES
At Capri Palace Jumeirah, a vast team of practitioners including doctors, therapists, beauticians, dieticians, chefs and medical directors deliver tailored plans designed to promote weight loss, anti-ageing and detoxification.
PRACTITIONERS
Don't come here to avoid all temptation but do come for the hotel's world-famous Leg School, developed by Professor Francesco Canonaco. This is the Capri Medical Spa's signature treatment and the A-list apparently swear by it - both Liz Hurley and Gwyneth Paltrow are ardent fans. Dr Canonaco developed the treatment as a way of treating cellulite, varicose veins and other leg problems over the course of a seven-day plan during which you have daily mud wraps, cold bandaging, Kneipp baths, ice massage and lymphatic drainage (all taking about 3hrs a day) plus dietary and exercise advice.
FACILITIES
It doesn't stop there though as the spa offers a huge array of treatments in 20 private rooms as well as an indoor Thalasso pool and well-equipped gym with dedicated personal trainers.
SLEEPING
Since there are only 67 rooms and suites, guests have a lot of space to move around in, including the large outdoor pool, whose underwater windows you pass as you enter the hotel. Colour palettes are white, blue and with ceramic tiles throughout. The Art Suites with their iconic private pools marry well with the CapriTouch Suites that ooze island charm.
EATING
Choose from two Michelin-starred L'Olivo, the poolside Ragu Bistro or rooftop Zuma. You must also make at least one visit to fun and buzzing Il Riccio for lunch overlooking the sea and only 10 minutes away by hotel shuttle. The Bar degli Artisti is perfect for a cocktail to kick off your evening.
