Day 1 Palermo to Mondello

Day 2 Mondello to San Vito lo Capo
Depart early for San Vito lo Capo, a charming town that looks out onto sheltered turquoise waters and pristine beaches. On arrival at San Vito lo Capo's harbour, take a refreshing swim or snorkel in the clear waters, and enjoy the town's famous beach. Be sure to try the local couscous, a dish that blends Sicilian and North African flavours. Round off the afternoon with some relaxation at anchor, enjoying the endless sunshine and inviting waters, followed perhaps by aperitivos and explorations of the local restaurants offering fresh seafood and Sicilian cuisine.

Day 3 San Vito lo Capo to Favignana
Set sail to the Aegadian Islands, heading first to Favignana, the largest of the islands. Once anchored at Cala Rossa or Cala Azzurra, enjoy snorkelling in the vibrant marine environment and explore the picturesque village of Favignana, with its narrow streets and lively piazzas. Stay overnight in the marina or on anchor nearby.

Day 4 Favignana to Marettimo
Continue on to the most remote of the Aegadian Islands, Marettimo, renowned for its rugged cliffs, caves, and exceptional hiking trails. Drop anchor and explore by dinghy or swim in the secluded coves. Hike to the Casa Romana or explore the Grotta del Cammello by boat. The island has a quiet and serene atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a peaceful evening under the stars, and sampling one of the handful of local restaurants that offer the freshest seafood imaginable.

Day 5 Marettimo to Trapani
Leave Marettimo behind and sail back towards the port city of Trapani. Dock in Trapani's modern marina and take time to explore this historic city. Visit the old town, the baroque Chiesa del Purgatorio, or take a cable car to Erice, a medieval hilltop village with breathtaking views. Trapani is known for its vibrant culinary scene, so remaining in town for a delicious dinner at one of the many traditional Sicilian restaurants is a must.

Day 6 Trapani to Lo Zingaro Nature Reserve
Today you will journey on towards the Lo Zingaro Sea National Park, an untouched natural reserve located in a sheltered bay on Sicily's north west coast. Spend the day exploring the coves and beaches of Lo Zingaro, such as Cala Capreria and Cala dell'Uzzo. The park is famous for its unspoiled natural beauty, crystal-clear waters, and rich marine life, making it an irresistible spot for snorkelling and swimming. Anchor near the park for a peaceful night, enjoying the serene surroundings and possibly a sunset hike onshore.

Day 7 Lo Zingaro to Castellammare del Golfo
Continuing east along the coast you will reach the charming town of Castellammare del Golfo, with its glorious harbour and mountain backdrop. Take a stroll through the town, visit the Castello Arabo Normanno, and enjoy lunch at a waterfront restaurant. Later this afternoon, set sail for Palermo. After arriving in the evening, spend your last night at anchor reflecting on the beautiful journey and the places you have discovered along the way.
