With origins in the mid-18th century, this traditional farmhouse or Masseria has been lovingly restored by its current owner to provide an incredibly comfortable and stylish retreat. Located in the scenic Canale di Pirro valley, the property is surrounded with delightful Mediterranean terraces, as well as a walled garden, pathways lined with strawberry trees, and beyond, over 40 hectares of vineyard, olive grove and woodland. A wildflower meadow features the remains of a trulli ruin.
A welcoming staff is on hand to ensure guests are well taken care of, from daily housekeeping with turn down service, to the services of chef Luciano to provide delicious Italian and regional cooking. Home-baked breads fresh from the oven are a speciality, as well as a farm-to-table menu based predominantly on produce harvested from the estate. Breakfast is wonderfully Italian style, with seasonal fruits, pastries, organic muesli and organic estate honey. A variety of dining locations are available for gatherings. The candle-lit courtyard is a wonderfully atmospheric setting for a celebratory dinner, pool-side dining is perfect for lunches and lawns for picnics offer glorious views of the region.
