il Prato di Vignamaggio consists of four houses settled close together in a meadow with vineyards and woods surrounding all sides yet just 10 minutes from two of Chianti's iconic towns - Panzano and Greve-in-Chianti. The main villa has six bedrooms and can sleep up to 12 people with a large, inviting living room, indoor and outdoor dining for 22 and a fully-equipped kitchen. The neighbouring cottage has room for four people, the studio for two and the granary for an additional four people allowing il Prato to accommodate up to 22 people comfortably in privacy and a selection of places to unite and be together. The pool lays central to all the houses with paths of rosemary and roses to lead the way to a refreshing splash in the pool.
Should you wish to venture out to explore the surrounding countryside, you can enjoy a private tour of the neighbouring vineyards which are run by the villa’s owner. Enjoy a wine tasting and lunch at the estate's newly opened restaurant. Alternatively, visit the famous butcher in Panzano to enjoy a Florentine steak grilled on an open fire with a hearty glass of Chianti Classico.
