The Palazzo's origins date from the 12th century, but its actual form is mainly derived from a 17th century renovation by the Marchese Anton Maria Bartolommei and designed by architect Ferdinando Tacca. The unique interiors have been created by renowned interior designer Ilaria Miani - an intoxicating blend of modern pieces with historic features and a spectacular art collection. Backing onto the terrace, visible from the living room, are the stained glass windows of the church of St. Stefano, through which drift the gentle sounds of organ and choir practice. From the terrace you can see the tower of Palazzo Vecchio.
