Villa dell’Angelo is comprised of three principal buildings. The main house sleeps up to 6 guests (+ 2 children/1 adult on a sofa-bed), with a well-equipped kitchen and living area and panoramic views across the countryside. Bedrooms have high, airy ceilings, terracotta floors and a gentle pastel décor typical of the region. Ground floor living areas open onto a surrounding terrace, where neat lawns are edged with borders of rosemary, jasmine and lavender and beyond, a lovely 12m x 6m infinity swimming pool.
Adjacent to the main house is a separate cottage with a studio bedroom, sleeping 2 additional guests (+ 2 children/1 adult on a sofa-bed), with a small kitchen and private outdoor terrace area.
Finally, across the lawn is the pool house cottage, which can accommodate a further 2 guests with one double bedroom, a lower ground floor bathroom and private poolside terrace.
The charming town of Montepulciano is literally up the road and can be reached by foot within 25 minutes (uphill from the villa) or 2 minutes by car. You will find several good cafes, restaurants and convenience stores, perfect for a morning cappuccino or afternoon gelato. Easily reachable locally are Siena (40 minute drive), Pienza (15 minute drive) and Arezzo (30 minute drive), as well as Florence and the broader Chianti region for day trips.
