Originally a medieval defensive tower, Villa Bel Canto is a striking property in the heart of Umbria. The villa is fitted with traditional furnishings and enjoys stretching views of the surrounding countryside from the garden, pool (15m x 6m) and rooftop terrace. Bel Canto is part of a larger estate which has its own private golf course, restaurant and bar at guests’ disposal.
Villa Bel Canto is located in one of the most beautiful rural areas of Umbria whilst only being a couple of hours from the cities of Rome and Florence. This area of the region remains mostly untouched by tourists and offers a true countryside escape with small villages, only a few minutes away by car, offering traditional restaurants and local butchers, bakers and grocers. Lake Trasimeno is also only a 30-minute drive away and is the ideal spot for sailing and enjoying the lake promenade. The lake also has several small beaches and bars available along the shoreline.
