Day 2 Luštica Peninsula
Enjoy a hearty breakfast on board as you set sail into the enchanting waters of the Boka. Tracing a scenic route around the coastline of the Luštica Peninsula, the tranquil waters of Dobra Luka Bay make an ideal stop for a refreshing swim, some snorkelling or paddleboarding. Continuing around the peninsula you will eventually reach Traste Bay, where lush, forested slopes meet turquoise waters. Should you need to work up an appetite for dinner, you could scale the hill of historic Fort Traste and take in the sweeping views of the bay. An alternative for the evening could be to anchor in the sheltered fisherman's village in Bigova Bay, which was once a pirate's lair.

Day 3 Jaz Bay - Sveti Stefan
Your morning's sailing leads you to Jaz Bay, where you will find one of Montenegro's longest beaches. The extended horseshoe bay offers calm, clear waters for swimming and snorkelling, and you can spend as long as you wish here before continuing the journey south in the direction of Sveti Stefan. This glamorous seaside resort makes quite the impression even on the approach, with its 15th-century fortified island extending out into the Adriatic from the pristine beaches.

Day 4 Petrovac - Maljevik Bay
After breakfast admiring the views of Sveti Stefan in the morning light, set sail in the direction of Petrovac. Despite its popularity for holidaymakers from the former Yugoslavia between the two world wars, Petrovac has retained a delightfully low-key charm. The vista from the glittering waters here is one of natural pink beaches and forested cliffs. After ample time for swimming, kayaking and any other marine exploits that may tempt you, your gulet continues on towards peaceful Maljevik Bay or deserted Valdanos Bay where you will anchor for the evening.

Day 5 Veslo Bay - Zanjice
Today's sailing takes you to a wild and beautiful stretch of coastline which feels blissfully off-the-beaten-track. The waters of Veslo dazzle in transparent aquamarine in the sunlight, and the rugged cliff ledges invite those feeling adventurous to take an invigorating plunge. Continuing north, perhaps venture into the glittering Blue Cave before approaching Zanjice, where a serene and sheltered bay awaits for a tranquil evening on board, dining under the stars or disembarking to choose from one of the local restaurants that line the waterfront.

Day 6 Kotor
The delights of UNESCO-recognised Kotor await today but, should you have become accustomed by now to a morning swim, a stop along the way to bask in the blue-green waters of Orahovac Bay is highly recommended. Arrive in Kotor where winding cobbled streets lead past medieval churches and Venetian palaces. Scale the steep but rewarding trail up to the fortress, or slow the pace with some people-watching from one of the many cafes and bars that line the bustling plazas.

Day 7 Perast
Swim and snorkel in the serene waters of Morinj Bay or from the amazing beaches of the pilgrimage island of Sveti Marko. Then sail the short distance to Perast, an impossibly beautiful harbour town where limestone cliffs overlook a cerulean bay dotted with forested islets. The compact historic centre oozes charm with its terracotta roofs, Venetian mansions and no fewer than 16 churches, and you are spoiled for choice when it comes to finding an atmospheric venue for your final dinner in Montenegro.
