SON BALAGUERET

Spread over three floors, Son Balagueret comfortably sleeps eight adults in four bedrooms plus an additional day bed for a child. Each bedroom has independent access, allowing guests a degree of privacy, with one located in the villa’s signature turret, with a curved stairwell leading from a luxurious bathroom on the lower level. Bedrooms afford views across the Mallorcan landscape, with the crystal blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea glistening in the background visible due to the elevated setting. 

This beautifully stone clad property is part of Sir Richard Branson’s Son Bunyola estate. A 25-year labour of love, the estate comprises over 1,300 acres of countryside overlooking the sea, with citrus, almond and olive trees. There are two further villas within the estate, Sa Punta de S’Aguila (five bedrooms) and Sa Terra Rotja (4 bedrooms), as well as a 26-room five star boutique hotel, Son Bunyola. Guests are welcome to dine at the hotel – Sa Terrassa and Sa Tafona are overseen by farm to fork devotee, Chef Samuel Galdon, or to make use of the spa and nearby tennis court (pre-booking highly recommended). There are numerous walking and biking trails that criss-cross the estate including down to a rocky cove where a refreshing dip awaits.
