Arctic Bath Hotel Sweden

This unique floating spa hotel is on the shores of the Rane River just outside the village of Harads. The concept of embracing natural resources has created a central open-air plunge pool with three saunas and a hot tub. Stay in a Land cabin in en-suite duplex rooms or suites located on the shoreline, elevated upon stilts. Each Land cabin features its own deck for meditation, Northern Light watching and stargazing. Alternatively take to the water by staying in one of the cabins that jut into the river - frozen solid in the winter - and free-floating in the summer, with the rooms connected to the shoreline by an elevated walkway. Spa rituals are a way of life in Sweden and nowhere more so that here at Arctic Bath. Enjoy the three different saunas, dip in the hot tub before bracing yourself for a cold-water plunge into the central arctic bath. Kristoffer Åström heads up the culinary team at Arctic Bath and ‘the Sami chef’ uses local produce in his creative 5-course tasting menus.
