Arrive in Santiago, Chile's cosmopolitan capital city, and transfer to your boutique hotel in the Lastarria neighbourhood. You may wish to explore the nearby shops and restaurants or take some time to rest before your Patagonian adventure begins tomorrow.

Day 2 To Torres del Paine
You will be driven back to the airport today for your spectacular flight south to Puerto Natales. Upon arrival you will be met by a representative and transferred to your lodge with the other guests. Along the way, observe the landscapes change from endless Patagonian steppe to imposing granite peaks as you approach Torres del Paine. Enjoy a welcome briefing at Explora Torres del Paine followed by a delicious first meal at the lodge.

Day 3 - 4 Activities in and around Torres del Paine
Take advantage of two full days of included activities in the Torres del Paine region, led by Explora's expert team of guides. From the jagged shards of the Paine Massif to the shimmering waters of glacial lakes, the Torres del Paine National Park is home to some of Patagonia's most iconic panoramas, and Explora's carefully curated activity programme allows you a full immersion into these wonders. Equally rewarding is the opportunity to sample exclusive Explora activities uncovering lesser-visited destinations in the area, where you can enjoy flora, fauna and vistas of pristine wilderness with no one else in sight. Activities are available to suit every level of fitness and range from challenging hikes, gentle walks and vehicle safaris to adventures on horseback.

Day 5 Travel to the Patagonia National Park
Departing Torres del Paine today you will be transferred to Puerto Natales. Take a charter flight north over dramatic Andean peaks to Cochrane, located on the edge of the Patagonia National Park. Here, you will be based at Explora's remarkable lodge which is committed to sustaining the inspiring legacy of the Tompkins Conservation foundation and its rewilding efforts in this far-flung corner of Patagonia.

Day 6 - 7 Activities from Explora Patagonia National Park
Explora's programme in the Patagonia National Park comprises over 25 individual activities designed to showcase the remarkable flora and fauna of the region. You may find yourself kayaking along the pristine Cochrane River, hiking through ancient woodlands to outlooks over vast lakes, mountain biking through untamed Patagonian steppe or taking a vehicle safari to the colossal Calluqueo Glacier. Rewilding efforts in the area have also allowed diverse ecosystems to flourish here, so you are likely to encounter plentiful native wildlife along the way.

Day 8 Travel to Aysén
Bidding farewell to the Patagonia National Park you will journey north to your welcoming eco lodge in southern Aysén. Aysén remains one of Patagonia's least visited wonders, home to dramatic mountains and glaciers, and delivering an authentic dose of untamed Patagonian wilderness. Your lodge is the prime base in the area for explorations of Aysén, and is perched in an enviable position looking out over Lake General Carrera.

Day 9 Visit the Marble Caves
This morning you will discover one of the highlights of Aysén - the spectacular Marble Caves. From Bahia Mansa take to the expansive waters of Lake General Carrera. A gentle cruise takes you to the face of the Capilla de Marmol - the 'marble cathedral' - which emerges from the milky blue waters. Thousands of years of geological activity and water erosion have formed the calcium carbonate rock formations, where partially submerged chambers form the network of Marble Caves. Your expert guide will navigate you through the caves, allowing you to fully appreciate the multi-hued shades of undulating rock and the ever-changing reflections of light and water.

Day 10 Further activities in Aysén
Today is free for you to organise further activities in Aysén from your base at Mallin Colorado Ecolodge. You may wish to hike the extensive forest trails that depart directly from the lodge, reaching viewpoints of Andean peaks, the surrounding lakes and the Northern Patagonia Icefields in the distance. To experience these timeless lands on horseback, join a local gaucho guide on a scenic ride through native forest, taking in magnificent views of mountain scenery on the way to Lake Bertrand. Further afield, day trips can take you to the Exploradores Glacier for ice hiking, or to the San Rafael Lagoon for a fjord cruise to the face of the San Rafael glacier.

Day 11 To Balmaceda and on to Santiago
As your Patagonian adventure draws to a close, you will be driven through breathtaking mountain scenery to Balmaceda. From here, fly north to Santiago where you will be met at the airport and transferred to the Singular for your final night in Chile.
