Located on a 17th-century working farm owned by former Ecuadorean President Galo Plaza-Lasso, Hacienda Zuleta is an awe-inspiring and authentic retreat in the heart of the Andes. The Plaza-Lasso family have owned this place for more than 100 years and their deep ties with the local environment and community can be felt in the warm welcome that envelops you from the moment you walk through the doors. On arrival, you'll be assigned a dedicated host, who will look after you throughout your stay, personally handling all your requests and sharing their lifetime of local knowledge.

You'll find plenty to keep you busy. Take guided horse rides through woodland and winding mountain trails, see rare condors soaring through the skies, learn to cook Andean specialities with a local chef, or just relax in front of a roaring fire in your wood-beamed suite.
