DUBAI & MALDIVES: DESERT MEETS THE OCEAN

The buzz of Dubai combined with the serenity of the Maldives offers ten days of fabulous contrasts. Begin your journey in the vibrant setting of Dubai's Downtown, where fabulous shops, souks and restaurants await to be explored and the city's iconic fountains dance by night. An afternoon in the desert takes you back to the origins of the city, and offers opportunities a memorable immersion into the dunes.

The second part of your journey takes you to a true Indian Ocean paradise. A four-hour flight takes you the Maldivian capital of Malé where you will continue on by scenic seaplane to the dazzling Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru. Here, a week of relaxation and indulgence on pristine white sands is the order of the day, but magnificent snorkelling and diving opportunities are on offer should you find yourself getting restless.

Arrive
Day 1 Arrive in Dubai

Upon arrival in Dubai today you will be met at the airport with our VIP welcome service. After being fast-tracked through immigration formalities you will be driven to your hotel in the heart of Dubai's vibrant Downtown district. This evening, be sure to take in the spectacle of the dancing Dubai fountains.

Day 2 City and desert

Enjoy a morning to explore the souks, shops and eateries of Downtown Dubai at your own pace. We can arrange tickets to The Frame or the Museum of the Future if you would like a spot of sightseeing. This afternoon you will be driven into the desert for a thrilling dune bashing ride in a 4x4. After an adrenaline rush across the dunes, continue to a traditional Bedouin tented camp for camel trekking followed by a feast cooked on open fires under the stars.

Day 3 To the Maldives

This morning you will be driven to the airport for your flight to the Maldives, a journey of around four hours. On arrival in Malé, travel by seaplane to your magnificent resort. This fkight incredible way to see the Maldives as you fly over the turquoise lagoons that circle the resorts and private hideaways. After a very quick speedboat ride from the floating landing jetty you will be warmly welcomed by the team at Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru and shown to your villa, where you will have time to relax before dinner.

Day 4 - 9 Relaxation and marine adventures

The next six days are at leisure for you to enjoy all that the Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru has to offer. The resort's facilities include the Spa and Ayurvedic Retreat, bicycles on which to explore and get lost, a PADI 5-star Gold Palm Dive Centre, endless snorkelling, and Marine Discovery Centre where you can learn about the turtle hatching programme. The resort is also blessed with tennis courts, swimming pools and world-class restaurants and bars.

Day 10 Depart

After a final breakfast in the Maldives, depart by sea plane to Malé. On arrival you will be met and escorted to the international departures hall in plenty of time for your flight home.
