Day 1 Arrive in Vancouver
A Red Savannah representative will be waiting at the airport to welcome you and drive you to your downtown Vancouver hotel. The rest of the day is free of arrangements for you to settle in and relax after your journey.

Day 2 Board the Rocky Mountaineer
You will board the Rocky Mountaineer this morning and start your rail-journey north to the resort town of Whistler. Pass through the wild and beautiful Canadian landscape including Cheakamus Canyon, Mount Garibaldi, Howe Sound and the Coast Mountains. On arrival in Whistler you will have the balance of your evening at leisure to relax or explore independently.

Day 3 Whistler to Quesnel
After breakfast you will board the Rocky Mountaineer to continue to the rural town of Quesnel on the outskirts of the Cariboo region. The journey takes you over Deep Creek Bridge - one of the highest railway bridges in the world. Other highlights include Fraser Canyon and lovely views of the shorelines of Seton and Anderson Lakes, both of which are fed by glaciers. If you are very lucky, you might spot sea eagles, moose or bears from the train.

Day 4 Quesnel to Jasper
Head back to the train for the beautiful journey to Jasper, which will take you through yet more stunning scenery. Look out for the Rocky Mountain Trench, Moose Lake and Fraser River - not to mention the highest peak of the Canadian Rockies, Mount Robson.

Day 5 Jasper
Explore Jasper National Park today with your guide, including a lake cruise on the iconic Maligne Lake. You will continue on to the town of Jasper where the balance of your day will be at leisure for you to explore independently.

Day 6 Jasper to Lake Louise
The scenic Icefields Parkway - Highway 93 - enables you to explore the Jasper National Park on the route to Lake Louise. Your guide will show you highlights including vast lakes, ice fields and waterfalls. At Columbia Icefield, enjoy a ride on an Ice Explorer to Athabasca Glacier, or a daring walk along the glass-floored Skywalk, before continuing on to Lake Louise where you will arrive in the late afternoon.

Day 7 Lake Louise
Today is at leisure in Lake Louise. You can relax in your hotel overlooking the stunning mountains and get involved in local activities including hiking and canoeing on the lake.

Day 8 Lake Louise to Banff
Enjoy a morning at Lake Louise before a half day tour into Yoho National Park will reveal even more beautiful landscapes and allow time to stretch your legs in the fresh air. You will have a chance to see Emerald Lake before your transfer to Banff. Here, you will travel to Banff and check-in to your hotel before spending the afternoon at leisure.

Today is a full free day in Banff for you to relax and explore the town.

Day 10 Banff to Kamloops
Today the Rocky Mountaineer will continue west through The Rockies. Of the many sights along the way, highlights include Kicking Horse Canyon, Spiral Tunnels and Craigellachie - the famous spot where the Last Spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. On arrival in Kamloops the afternoon will be at leisure.

Day 11 Kamloops to Vancouver
You will continue west toward Vancouver, passing through spectacular scenery including Hell's Gate, Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes that run down to the Thompson River. On arrival in Vancouver you will disembark the Rocky Mountaineer and will be privately transferred to your hotel for your final night in Canada.

Enjoy a day at leisure in Vancouver before your transfer to the airport in time for your onward flight.
