Nine individual categories range from classic Veranda Suites and Silver Suites to a wealth of upgrade options featuring expanded indoor and outdoor living spaces, separate dining areas and whirlpool baths. DINING
Fine dining is a signature experience of any Silversea cruise, and the culinary offering on board the Silver Endeavour is no exception. The stylish main restaurant offers delicious regional and international fare, with dining times entirely of your choosing. Alternatively, opt for polished Italian specialities at Il Terrazzino, or the exquisite six-course French gastronomical journey on offer at La Dame. Those seeking a less formal dining experience will find bright surrounds of glass-ceilinged The Grill an uplifting setting at any time of day. Should you prefer something a little more low-key after a day of Polar adventures, 24-hour in-suite butler service is available for you to dine in the comfort and privacy of your suite.
AMENITIES
With so much deck space dedicated to public areas on board the Silver Endeavour, passengers will find ample venues from which to absorb their memorable surroundings, as well as dedicated spaces for relaxation and pampering. Marvel at the passing scenery of dazzling blue icebergs, seemingly endless Polar ice shelves and jagged snowcapped peaks in the invigorating fresh air out on deck, over a leisurely lunch in the glass-enclosed pool deck or settled into the warming Observation Lounge with afternoon tea. Unwind after bracing Polar hikes or kayaking adventures in the sauna, perhaps followed a soothing massage in the Otium Spa.
WHY WE LIKE IT
Building on the success of their already well-established ‘Antarctica Bridge’ programme (allowing passengers to fly to Antarctica rather than cross the notorious Drake Passage) a gleaming new addition to the Silversea fleet offering this option is an exciting development. Yet there is much more to love about the Silver Endeavour than just the ease of passage to Antarctica.
Her industry-leading Zodiac to guest ratio makes a significant difference when the time comes to venture out on excursions, allowing many more guests to immerse themselves in the Polar wilderness at the same time. Attention to detail on board is similarly elevated. In addition to her expansive suites with generous balconies – and an irresistible spa – the latest technology has been employed to build a greater connection with nature, even when not out on excursions in the Polar wilds. A remotely operated vehicle capable of reaching depths of up to 2,000 feet - as well as a state-of-the-art Gimbal camera system - stream outstanding wildlife footage directly onto the ship, allowing for an uninterrupted connection with your surroundings, even when in the warmth and comfort of the vessel’s endless inviting living spaces.
