Ribboning around a 12th century church, the streets of Bonnieux climb the hillside of the Luberon mountain foothills and in so doing provide dramatic views from the village across the Luberon. Restaurant terraces line Bonnieux's outer walls, tempting diners to one of their tables for a menu du jour and perhaps a Côtes du Luberon. From the sun-downer terrace in the grounds of the Mas du Buis, the Mont Ventoux can be seen and studied in its full glory.
