Java
Whilst you can fly almost anywhere in the world from Singapore, we suggest Jakarta on the island of Java to begin the next stage of your adventure. From here, travel in style in Aman’s luxury train carriage up to the lush, mountainous region of Borobudur where the world’s largest temple dates back to the 9th century. Amanjiwo is the most luxurious base from which to explore the region, designed to emulate the temple itself and boasting magnificent views out to Borobudur temple in the distance.

Bali

Komodo
An hour’s flight from Denpasar takes you to Labuan Bajo, the entrance to the stunning Komodo National Park. The marine park’s striking topography contrasts rugged green mountains and dry savannah with the breathtaking turquoise waters and pink sand beaches, creating a vivid backdrop for its legendary resident, the Komodo dragon.The best way to experience Komodo is on board a traditional phinisi boat with a private captain, chef and dedicated crew.

• Go trekking in search of the Komodo Dragon and dive with manta rays at Manta Point
• Follow snorkelling in azure waters with a gourmet picnic on a pink coral sand beach
• Dine by candlelight under the stars on deck and watch a movie projected on to the phinisi's sail
