   Arrive in Vancouver, Canada, the hub for your wilderness adventure and the ideal place to adjust to your new time zone. From here take a breathtaking seaplane flight to Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge on Vancouver Island. The journey is an adventure in itself as you soar over the mountain peaks, crossing vast expanses of uninhabited hinterland and descending down into Clayoquot Sound. Accommodation at the lodge is in ultra luxurious safari-style tents with oversized beds, cosy fires, bathrooms with underfloor heating and private decks overlooking the creek and mountains beyond.

   

    

   Activities include:

   • Thrilling RIB safaris in Clayoquot Sound in search of seals, whales and black bears

   • Paddle boarding, canyoning and snorkelling in the crystalline waters of Bedwell Sound

   • A jaw-dropping helicopter flight over the Bedwell River Valley at sunset

3. Oregon

   Travel from the Canadian wilderness to Oregon in the USA. Should you be in need of a few days back in civilisation, the bohemian town of Bend is the perfect base. Framed by the Deschutes River and the Cascade Mountains, you can expect farmers’ markets, live music by the river, wine tasting and micro breweries. Follow your time in Bend with rafting adventure down the Deschutes River, consisting of thrilling white-water, spectacular canyons and blissful nature. A private camp will be set up on the river bank for you each evening, and dinner under the stars provides the perfect opportunity to reflect on the day's adventures.

   

   Activities include: 

   • An utterly exhilarating rafting adventure down the Deschutes River

   • Hiking around the rim of Oregon's astounding Crater Lake
